Like everyone else in an organization, supervisors face times when difficult conversations are necessary. Though the subject matter may vary, the feelings of dread are the same, for both employees receiving the news and the supervisors who must do the dirty work.
At the completion of this module, the participant will be able to:
- Understand that difficult conversations are necessary;
- Pick the appropriate venue in a private setting for these conversations;
- Learn how to set the proper tone and have an accurate and honest message;
- Use respectful and appropriate terms when having difficult conversations
