- Successful supervision of an alternative work arrangement requires the supervisor to be results oriented, tolerant of variation, comfortable with an individualized style of supervision, and willing to delegate.
- Objectives, expectations, and timetables must be clearly spelled out, effective channels of communication must be maintained, performance must be carefully monitored, and adequate feedback provided.
