Why “Transporting Hazardous Materials Safely” Matters:
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) through its hazardous material regulations (49 CFR 171-180), specifies requirements for the safe transportation of hazardous materials in commerce by rail, aircraft, vessel, and motor vehicle. The DOT has general requirements for the loading, unloading, handling, and storage of hazardous materials during their transportation.
DOT regulations require us to train you to perform your job safely and to help ensure the safe transportation of hazardous materials.
